Designers Voszi and daughter Isabelle Elizabeth put "art in motion" with their versatile fashions that flatter every figure in a local fashion show. This event took place Sunday, Oct. 4, at the King Arts Complex to showcase the designers' new fall and holiday clothing line. Voszi also introduced her first children’s line. Many of the designs were tapestry influenced, adorned with leather appliqué and could be worn loose or formfitting. Stunning models of various ethnicities, shapes, sizes and ages sashayed up and down the aisles presenting wearable works of art for men, women and children. A couple of handsome male models were sporting very masculine messenger style bags for the "gentleman who dares to be noticed," said Pamela Scott, host. The possibilities are endless with the various styles, fabrics, and colors of the unique pieces and coordinating accessories. These designs are for fashionable clientele of all ages. One could wear the draped, wrapped look or wear a plunging neckline and cropped top with thigh high boots if they dare. Many of the garments were convertible and could be transformed from a basic look to a more dramatic appearance or used for added warmth. The line features many over-sized tunics with leggings and two-piece coordinates with flowing fabric that could be wrapped several ways. Many other designs exhibited sexy and classy micro-mini dresses as well as long, flowing floor-length gowns. Some were slightly revealing and highlighted the feminine curves of a woman while still leaving something to the imagination. The adorable young models pranced with sassy attitudes showing off the colorful and vibrant children’s line. Voszi displayed many of her signature styles of coats, jackets and accessories with plenty of vivid colors. However, she unleashed her glamorous and dazzling couture collection, Alvoyce in the breathtaking finale with models coming from every direction. Many audience members danced in their chairs to the various genres of music as they were wowed by the lively atmosphere. Alvoyce is the name Voszi’s father gave her. The clothing line is dedicated to him. The mother and daughter team seemed to be very proud of one another. Doing the collection with her daughter was "a joy," said Voszi. The show was a great success with people scampering to buy the artistic designs. They too wanted to look like art in motion. |
