Technology Company To Expand Columbus Operations
Clear Saleing, Inc., a leading technology provider to the online advertising
market, is seeking to expand its Columbus operations by creating 60 new jobs
and retaining 14. Mayor Michael B. Coleman is asking Council on Monday to
approve a 65-percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the expansion
effort.
“I’m excited about Clear Saleing’s commitment to Columbus as we continue to
build on our national reputation as a top technology city,” said Mayor
Coleman. “We are fighting for every job as part of our plan to sustain our
quality of life and maintain core city services, and we’re committed to using
every possible tool to encourage businesses to grow in Columbus. Every new job
created in this city has a ripple effect on the greater economy.”
“Clear Saleing is a national leader in the field of information technology,
and their decision to expand is a reflection of our efforts to create jobs and
promote new industries,” said Councilmember Andrew J. Ginther, chair of the
Development Committee. “They are a valued member of an ever growing group of
high-tech companies that call Columbus home.”
